Three men have died in a two-car crash in Nottinghamshire.
The 23-year-old driver of one of the vehicles and two passengers in the car, aged 19 and 21, died at the scene in Cotgrave Road, Tollerton, at about 23:00 BST on Thursday.
Two men in another car, a 26-year-old driver and his 20-year-old passenger, had been arrested on suspicion of causing death by careless driving, said Nottinghamshire Police.
The 26-year-old was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries, added the force.
Accident investigation work is ongoing and Cotgrave Road was closed from the A606 to Tollerton Lane into Friday afternoon.
Sgt Mark Baker, from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit, said "a thorough" investigation was being carried out.
He said: "Three men have tragically lost their lives following this incident and our thoughts are with their family and friends at this incredibly difficult time.
"The victim's relatives have been informed and will be supported by specially-trained officers."
Firefighters from West Bridgford, London Road and Highfields fire stations were also called to the scene on Thursday.
